Good app but when it opens you get taken over by an AD. Not what you want to see!! Ads need to be on the side not plastered over the whole screen!!!

I was so happy to see the comment section of this app was finally fixed but it seems to be broken again. When I try to comment it just lets me link to national news. Please fix again. When I try to log in to disqus to comment on the articles it does nothing. I have to go to settings and then rate this app. Then it brings up my disqus account with me logged in. Seem Im coming in backwards with way more steps. When I tried to put this on app support I had no luck.

Not bad app. Please let me increase font size fits comments. Even on iPad too small.

App was great but it crashes a lot and you cant comment anymore.

Sadly, this once great and non-partisan news organization has become so politically correct that it has become irrelevant. To add to the anguish, you have to fight advertisements on the HOME screen.

This app finds a home on my phone from time to time, but what I really need is an Apple TV app for local news when Im at home. My antennae reception stinks, and I dont have any paid TV plans, so streaming my news is it for me. None of the local channels have Apple TV news apps yet. Be the first!

App seems to be fine but WKYT is transitioning away from text alerts. When you try to set up alerts through the new app, you are unable to set up a school closing notification for Fayette County Public Schools. Only private schools are listed. Neighboring counties are included though. I tried to email them through app support but when you click on that, it sends you to their website which is why I am leaving this review instead. Hopefully someone will see this....

I am having problems clearing news after I review the article, I go back later after Ive cleared the news and its still there

Ummm...you left out Fayette County Schools under the "Closings" section. Ill just use the WLEX app, I guess.

I cant find wymt news on the wkyt app whats wrong

Downloaded the new app, and it wont work. Will not open or nothing. Please give me back the old app!

This new app does not seem to work! I tried it on my iPhone and iPad both -- no success. It just directs me to download the new app and I get a screen shot but never get into the appl.

Was a very nice and useful news app, until this latest update. Now you can get past the home page without it crashing.

Works pretty well on iPad Retina. Crashes on weather map frequently. I have never seen so many advertisements on an app before. Youll usually see 3-4 on the screen at a time. Annoying. -1 Star for crashing -1 Star for excessive ads

Really convenient for school closings and updates

I live near the Lexington area, and really enjoy the coverage that I get from this app. They are responsive to customer problems and get them taken care of. Three cheers.
